It is moving West Northwestward at 15 km/h. Shear Line affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting the rest of Luzon. Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds from northeast to northwest will prevail over the western sections of Mindanao with moderate to rough seas (1.2 to 3.1 meters). Elsewhere, moderate winds from the northwest to southwest to southeast with moderate seas (1.2 to 2.5 meters).

Minyoay Ngani Butuan: A Valentines Day Mass Civil Wedding

BUTUAN CITY, Feb. 15 (PIA) -- A hundred and fifty-three pairs exchanged vows on Valentine's Day in a mass civil wedding ceremony sponsored by the city government through the City Civil Registrar’s Office in partnership with Pag-IBIG Fund Caraga Region on Thursday dubbed “Minyoay Ngani Butuan” at the Guingona Park, this city.

Present there to bear witness were Mayor Jun Amante Jr., the solemnizing officer, Vice Mayor Law Fortun, Councilors Angie Calo, Virgilio Nery and Ryan Culima, City Administrator Leah Mendoza, Generoso H. Balacuit of Pag-IBIG, department heads, officials, other guests, and visitors.

During the wedding, aside from the free wedding rings sponsored by the Pag-IBIG Fund Caraga Region, wedding gifts were also given to all newly-weds. And to make the tying of the knot extra special, the Pag-IBIG will also raffle a house and lot for one lucky couple. (PIA-Caraga)
