New DILG Caraga Regional Director assumes post

BUTUAN CITY, Mar. 24 (PIA) –- Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Caraga Assistant Regional Director Lilibeth A. Famacion has assumed as the new regional director.
She will be replacing outgoing Director Atty. Rene K. Burdeos, who is assigned in Cagayan de Oro City.
During the turnover ceremony held recently, Burdeos thanked the management and personnel of DILG Caraga for their support during his five-year stint in this region.
He acknowledged the hard work of everyone that made Caraga a consistent frontrunner in program implementation of the department nationwide.
In her acceptance speech, Dir. Famacion in turn acknowledged the important role Atty. Burdeos played in her career path. She expressed her gratitude for his motivation and support even back when they were still in DILG VII. She also solicited the cooperation of all employees emphasizing that teamwork will still be the key for the office to perform at par or even better than other regions.
The assumption of Director Famacion is per Department Order No. 2012 – 199 dated March 13, 2012 which is to take effect immediately. (DILG-13/NCLM/PIA-Caraga)
