PSA – Agusan Norte to conduct the June labor force survey

BUTUAN CITY -- The Philippine Statistics Authority–Agusan del Norte (PSA–ADN) is set to conduct the June 2025 Labor Force Survey (LFS) from June 9 to 28, 2025, as part of the nationwide effort to monitor and assess the country’s labor situation.

The LFS is a key statistical activity that captures vital information on employment, unemployment, underemployment, working hours, and the types of work people engage in. These insights will provide a clear snapshot of the current labor market and are essential for shaping national and local policies on jobs, economic growth, and worker welfare.

To carry out this round of the LFS, PSA–Agusan del Norte has hired four trained statistical researchers (SRs) who underwent a two-day training on June 2 and 3. The SRs will survey a total of 194 sample households: 97 in Butuan City and 97 in the rest of Agusan del Norte.

PSA–Agusan del Norte encourages all sample households to fully participate and provide accurate, truthful responses. Every piece of data gathered will boost the programs that support employment, improve labor conditions, and address workforce challenges across the country.

All information collected will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, as mandated by Republic Act No. 10625. The data gathered is strictly for statistical purposes and will not be used for taxation, investigation, or regulation. (PSA Agusan del Norte/PIA Agusan del Norte)
