57 most wanted persons arrested in Caraga
BUTUAN CITY -- Police Regional Office (PRO)13 Regional Director Alan M. Nazarro announced the arrest of 57 most wanted persons (MWPs) following the two-day Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) from October 3 to 4, 2024 in the Caraga region.
Surigao del Sur PPO nabbed 15 MWPs, Agusan del Norte PPO with 12, Agusan del Sur PPO with 11, Surigao del Norte PPO with 10, Butuan City Police Office got seven, and Regional Mobile Force Battalion with one.
Among those apprehended was alias “Bert” who was collared in Mainit, Surigao del Norte by combined forces of Mainit Municipal Police Station and Surigao del Norte Provincial Intelligence Team.
Alias “Bert” was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape (Art. 266-A of RPC) under Criminal Case Numbers 16480, 16481, 16482 issued by Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Surigao City, Surigao del Norte dated February 28, 2024 without recommended bail.
Meanwhile, the Caraga’s top cop commended all police units for the successful SACLEO.
