PSA conducts house-to-house nat'l ID registration in Bayugan City

AGUSAN DEL SUR -- The National ID registration team of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), in collaboration with the barangay officials of Charito in Bayugan City, launched a house-to-house initiative to assist registrants facing mobility challenges on September 17.

This effort ensured that individuals with physical impairments could access the National ID registration process at the comfort of their homes.

Understanding the barriers that some residents encountered when attempting to reach registration centers, the team proactively reached out to these registrants.

Equipped with registration kits, the operators visited homes to provide personalized assistance, making the process more accessible and inclusive.

The collaboration with the barangay officials played a crucial role in identifying registrants in need and facilitating smooth communication between the registration team and the community. Together, they are helping to bridge the gap in accessibility and ensure that every resident has the opportunity to obtain their National ID.

This house-to-house initiative is part of the ongoing efforts of  the National ID registration team to promote inclusivity and accessibility in the registration process, reaffirming the government’s commitment to serve all citizens, regardless of their circumstance.
