It is moving Westward slowly. Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Dinagat Islands and Camiguin Island will have rains with gusty winds due to TD Wilma. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains with at times intense rains. Minimal to minor threat to life and property due to strong winds. While the rest Northern Mindanao, the rest of Caraga, and Zamboanga Peninsula will have Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to TD Wilma. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains. The rest of Mindanao will have Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Moderate to Strong winds from Northeast to Northwest will prevail over the western sections of Mindanao with moderate to rough seas (1.5 to 2.8 meters). Elsewhere, moderate to strong winds from the Northwest to Southwest with moderate to rough seas (1.2 to 2.5 meters). Rescue vehicles donated to performing barangays in Tandag City

TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur (PIA) -- In a commendable display of support for effective local governance, nine barangays in Tandag City received rescue vehicles as awardees of the 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangay (SGLGB).

Tandag City Mayor Roxanne Pimentel led the turnover ceremony which took place with great enthusiasm on July 15 at the Tandag City Multi-Purpose Hall and Park Shed.

The esteemed barangays of Awasian, Bag-ong Lungsod, Buenavista, Bongtud, Mabua, Maitom, Pangi, Quezon, and San Isidro expressed their heartfelt gratitude as they were commended during the recent Monday Flag Raising Ceremony and Program. Sangguniang Panlungsod Member Rosario Ninfa Dumagan II was also present at the activity.

The initiative served as a testament to Tandag City's steadfast dedication to disaster preparedness and community safety, showcasing the pivotal role that efficient local governance plays in fostering the well-being and security of its residents.
