PSA enjoins support on the conduct of the 2024 Census of Population, Community-Based Monitoring System 

BUTUAN CITY -- The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Regional Statistical Services Office XIII (Caraga) enjoins the support and cooperation of the Caraganons in the conduct of the 2024 Census of Population (POPCEN) and Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS). The data collection will run from 15 July to 16 September 2024 in all provinces in the region. The field enumerators and supervisors will visit the households in their assigned areas during this time.

The POPCEN is a complete enumeration of households and institutional living quarters in the country, which is designed to take an inventory of the total population of the Philippines. The CBMS refers to an organized technology-based system of collecting, processing, and validating necessary disaggregated data that may be used for planning, program implementation, and impact monitoring at the local level.

PSA acknowledged everyone’s right to privacy and assured the public that provisions of Republic Act No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012, are complied with.
