Butuan City– The Regional Tripartite Wages & Productivity Board- Caraga conducted the 7S for Good Housekeeping Practices to different branches of Surigao Economic & Development Micro Financing Incorporated (SEDMFI) on March 29 at Dotties Place, J.C. Aquino Ave, Butuan City.

7S stands for sort, systematize, sweep, standardize, self-discipline, sustain and safety. Each “S” represents a step in the process of creating an organized, efficient, and safe workspace.

7S good housekeeping provides a systematic approach to achieve and sustain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the workplace. By implementing the 7S methodology, enterprises can unlock numerous benefits, including increased productivity, improved safety, and cost savings. Moreover, 7S fosters a culture of continuous improvement and empowers employees to take ownership of their workspace, ultimately driving long-term success and improvement.

Sixty-two personnel from 15 different branches of SEDMFI attended the said training which was in line with the annual gathering of SEDMFI branches all over the region, and as part of human resource initiative in providing new training to its personnel.

Earl D. Dela Victoria, board secretary VI, in his message encouraged SEDMFI to continuously provide training to its workers. “This is a good partnership between SEDMFI and RTWPB. We will continue to provide Productivity training to SEDMFI to impart different productivity tools and techniques they can use in your operations, to improve workers’ capabilities, and to provide excellent services to its stakeholders”.

Jules C. Lacsamana, Administration and Finance head of SEDMFI Head Office, extended his gratitude to the team for providing the training to them.

“We are very thankful to RTWPB Caraga for extending their expertise in productivity to our organization. 7S is a great tool to help us improve and organize our workplaces and to instill self-discipline in sustaining good housekeeping in every aspect of our operation.” (RTWPB/PIA-Caraga)
