Surigao City police tops performance rating in January 2024

SURIGAO CITY, Surigao del Norte -- The Surigao City Police Station, led by Police Chief Lieutenant Colonel Diomedes B Cuadra Jr, achieved the highest performance rating of 94.89 percent among 22 other police units in the Surigao del Norte Police Provincial Office during the January 2024 Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER).

According to the data from the Provincial Program and Plans Unit (PPPU), the Surigao City Police Station maintained its top position in January, closely followed by the General Luna Municipal Police Station, which achieved a rating of 92.47 percent. While the San Benito Municipal Police Station secured third position with a rating of 91.78 percent.

The UPER system, a standardized assessment tool of the PNP, is developed to evaluate the performance of various PNP offices and units. The rating is based on a combination of 60 percent operational and 40 percent administrative accomplishments of each police unit.

Col. Laude commended the top-performing police stations for their exceptional dedication and selfless efforts. He said that each member of their police unit has shown outstanding commitment, and their contributions to the provincial police office are deeply valued.

"Let's continue to stay motivated and dedicated to achieving the goals of the police provincial office. Your hard work and commitment make a real difference in Surigao del Norte’s safety and security,” Laude added. (SDN-PPO/PIA-Surigao del Norte)
