Agusan Sur cops pay tribute to children, dependents through Pamaskong Handog

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur -- Amid the Tropical Depression Kabayan that struck the entire province, the Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (ADSPPO) still conducted the "Pamaskong Handog” that benefited a total of 200 children comprised of PNP’s dependents and other neighboring children, held at the ADSPPO covered court, Camp Democrito O. Plaza, Patin-ay, Prosperidad, this province.

Said action-packed festivity of generosity during this holiday season was highlighted with the giving of assorted toys, chocolates and candies combined with a magic show and mascot presentation that crafted inexplicable happiness to the beneficiaries.

This fun-filled activity was made possible through the following benevolent sponsors: Police Colonel Jovito C. Canlapan, provincial director; Police Lieutenant Colonel Nelson C. Nelmida, force commander of 1st Agusan del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company (ADSPMFC); PERA Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MPC)-San Francisco; Philsaga Mining Corporation; Pulvera Hardware; Ramil “Jing” Corvera; SAFRAGEMC; and many more.

Col. Canlapan expressed his gratitude to all its partner stakeholders for their support, and to all the PNP personnel of the province for their continued dedication and commitment to serve the public.

"Ngayong holiday season, ang inyo pong kapulisan sa probinsya ay patuloy na magbibigay ng mga ganitong programa sapagkat kami po ay naniniwala na ang Pasko ay para sa mga kabataan at ito ay ang panahon ng pagpapasalamat sa buong taon na tayo ay nananatiling malusog, masaya at kasama ang buong pamilya (This holiday season, your PNP personnel in the province will continue to provide you with programs such as this because we believe that Christmas celebration is also for the children, as we are also thankful for the good health throughout the year. And we are happy to have our family with us)," Canlapan said.

"Asahan niyo po na ang inyong kapulisan sa aking pamumuno ay mas paiigtingin pa ang seguridad para maipagdiwang niyo ang Pasko at Bagong Taon na mapayapa at masaya (Rest assured that the PNP personnel under my leadership will intensify security measures to ensure that we will have a peaceful celebration of Christmas and New Year)," added Canlapan.

This is in line with the learning and growth perspective of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 under the objective of developing a competent, well-motivated and value-oriented police personnel and organization in relation to the transformation program of the organization. (ADSPPO/PIA-Agusan del Sur)
