DOH -13 welcomes new doctors to the barrios

BUTUAN CITY -- The Department of Health - Center for Health Development (DOH - CHD) Caraga proudly welcomed the new doctors to the barrios (DTTBs) who officially took their oath of service under the guidance of DOH Caraga regional director, Dr. Cesar C. Cassion, MPH, CESO IV.

The new DTTBs, each assigned to specific areas, are as follows:

1. Dr. Jairah Antonio - Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur

2. Dr. Keren Praise Vedra - San Francisco, Agusan del Sur

3. Dr. Rex Owenn Coraje - Veruela, Agusan del Sur

4. Dr. Mynard Pontillo - La Paz, Agusan del Sur

5. Dr. Mae Ravidaz - Alegria, Surigao del Norte

6. Dr. Maria Louisa Pallingayan - Burgos, Surigao del Norte

7. Dr. Rose Ann Almoite - San Benito, Surigao del Norte

8. Dr. Kristoffer Neil Agcanas - San Isidro, Surigao del Norte

9. Dr. Joan Aileen Lingayo - San Jose, Province of Dinagat Islands

A pre-deployment orientation for the DTTB Batch 41-A took place from January 8-12, 2024, at VCDU Prince Hotel Inc., Imadejas, Butuan City. Following this, the doctors are scheduled for endorsement to their respective Provincial Department of Health Office (PDOHO) on January 15-16, 2024.

As the latest addition to the health workforce of  DOH Caraga, they will be deployed to doctorless municipalities to contribute their skills and expertise in providing equitable healthcare services in the region. Their induction reflects the DOH Caraga's commitment to strengthening the healthcare infrastructure and bolstering the region’s capacity to address emerging health challenges amidst the implementation of Universal Health Care.
