750 individuals in crisis receive assistance in Trento

BUTUAN CITY -- A total of P3 million was disbursed to some 750 eligible beneficiaries, each of whom received the amount P4,000 from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga.

This is through the payout under the DSWD's program on the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS), held on November 13, 2023, at the municipal multi-purpose evacuation center, municipal ground, Trento, Agusan del Sur.

This payout assisted the beneficiaries who were struggling financially as a result of the increased price on fuel, basic commodities, and prime necessities. 

With the collaboration between the DSWD Field Office Caraga, and the local government unit of Trento, this activity became feasible. (LGU Trento/PIA-Agusan del Sur)
