Law enforcement nabs suspect on illegal drugs in AgSur

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur -- The personnel of Trento Municipal Police Station (MPS) paved the way for another successful operation on the campaign against illegal drugs at Purok-14 Algon, Poblacion, Trento, this province, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, that resulted to the apprehension of one suspect and the seizure of illicit substances.

Trento MPS served as the lead unit, together with Agusan del Sur Provincial Intelligence Unit (ADSPIU) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency - Agusan del Sur Provincial Office (PDEA-ADSPO) conducted the operation against illegal drugs through buy bust operation that resulted in the confiscation of 0.30 gram of Shabu.

The arrested individual and the confiscated items are now in the custody of Trento MPS for appropriate handling and disposition, as the law enforcement agency is committed to ensuring that all necessary procedures and legal steps are followed to maintain the integrity of the case.

"The ADSPPO would like to extend our gratitude to the community for their continuous support and cooperation in the fight against illegal drugs. It is through the collective efforts being made by the community and law enforcement to safeguard the welfare and well-being of our community," PCol. Canlapan said.
