DOH-13 tops vaccination performance

PANGLAO, BOHOL PROVINCE -- The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD) Caraga  was recognized as the top performer in the Measles-Rubella – bivalent Oral Polio Vaccine Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-bOPV SIA) vaccination during the 2023 Ligtas Lakas Awards on October 5, 2023 in Panglao, Bohol. 

In a resounding testament to its commitment, DOH-CHD Caraga secured the top spot in the said vaccination campaign, and also earned recognition as one of the top five regions on expeditious utilization of bivalent vaccines. 

Furthermore, DOH-CHD Caraga found itself among the top-performing provincial health offices (PHOs) for MR-bOPV SIA vaccination, with Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, and Butuan City representing the region's local government units in this esteemed category.

Dr. Sadaila K. Raki-in, MCHM, MDM, CESE, and DOH-CHD Caraga assistant regional director, shared the region's effective command management, collaboration with partners, and craziness for excellence.

"This remarkable achievement served as a testament to the unwavering commitment of DOH-CHD Caraga to safeguard the health and well-being of all Caraganons.
