Possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains. Rest of Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by Easterlies. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds from northeast to north prevails over the eastern section with moderate to rough seas (2.1 to 3.5 meters). AgSur prov'l police office hailed as best in Caraga

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur -- The Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (ADSPPO), headed by provincial director, Police Colonel Jovito C. Canlapan, was recognized as the Best Provincial Office in Caraga region on its sixth consecutive year, and bagged another six regional awards, during the 122nd Police Service Anniversary as attended by Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Z. Duterte-Carpio as the guest of honor and speaker (GOHS), held on October 4, at the headquarters of Regional Police Office-13 grandstand, Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City.

These were the awards received by ADSPPO during the said ceremony:

• Bayugan City Police Station - Best Component City Police Station (2 consecutive years) 

• Bayugan City Police Station- Special Unit Award for Implementation of Project Shukran

• 1st Agusan del Sur Provincial Mobile Foce Company (ADS PMFC) - Best Provincial Mobile Force Company

The Police Service Anniversary (PSA) is annually celebrated in the month of August in commemoration of the establishment of the Philippine Constabulary as the country's first insular police force founded on August 8, 1901. This year's celebration bares the theme, "Nagkakaisang Pulisya at Pamayanan tungo sa. Mapayapa at Maunlad na Bansa."
