12 mentees of AgNor complete DTI online program

BUTUAN CITY -- As another remarkable achievement in the province of Agusan del Norte, twelve mentees completed the rigorous Kapatid Mentor Me-Money Market Encounter (KMME-MME) online program of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). The culmination of their hard work was recently celebrated through an inspiring graduation ceremony at Almont Inland Resort, Butuan City.

Throughout the course of the program, these mentees, who were established micro, small, and medium enterprises, engaged in an intensive 10-module session journey. The mentees showcased their determination and dedication by not only successfully completing these modules but also by presenting their Business Improvement Plans (BIPs).

The ceremony was attended by the DTI-Caraga officials, mentors, and family members of the graduates. The highlight of the event was the recognition of the province's best BIP presenter, Rosalie P. Arnaiz of Jojajeb Food Services in Magallanes, Agusan del Norte.

Moreover, the event showed a spotlight on remarkable achievements, as Michelle Servas of Jagupit Coconut Farmers Agriculture Cooperative of Santiago and Shiela Maglines of Guias Integrated Farm in Buenavista were recognized for their Excellent BIPs, earning the highest ratings during their presentations. This acknowledgment reflected their commitment to innovation and growth within their businesses.

The graduation ceremony also commemorated the accomplishments of Maribeth Ranoa of Deseo Food Products in RTR, highlighting her as one of the successful mentee graduates since the start of the program in 2017.

In her closing message, Provincial Director Lorijane D. Sacote, delivered words of praise and encouragement. She congratulated the graduates and extended gratitude to all those involved in the program's implementation. Director Sacote shared invaluable insights, emphasizing the importance of self-improvement, pursuing passions, self-belief, seeking mentorship, and, most importantly, applying the knowledge gained. Her parting words resonated deeply: "Success lies within one's personal commitment and decisions."

This year's successful program implementation was made possible through a partnership with the Rural Agro-industrial Partnership for Inclusive Development and Growth (RAPID Growth) program. (DTI Agusan del Norte/PIA Agusan del Norte)
