It is moving Northwestward at 10 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur will experience Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Trough of TS Jenny / Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds coming from Southwest to West will prevail with slight to moderate seas (0.6 to 2.1 meters).

Surigao port employees promote a drug-free workplace 

SURIGAO CITY, Surigao del Norte --In a collaborative effort to combat the drug menace and foster a drug-free work environment, the Port Management Office (PMO) of Surigao joined forces with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) – Region XIII to conduct an orientation to PMO Surigao employees at the Port of Surigao, Surigao City.

Facilitated by Dr. Wenifredo D. Alagabia, provincial officer of PDEA Surigao del Norte, the orientation shed light on the significant provisions of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Anti-Dangerous Drugs Law of 2002. The orientation encompassed various aspects, including the different types of illegal drugs, their usage, possession, transportation, and sale.

Moreover, Alagabia emphasized the crucial components of drug-free workplace policies and programs, underscoring the detrimental effects of drugs on individuals, particularly within the workplace.
