(PAGASA 24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST as of Monday, 08 December 2025) At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "WILMA" was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of Matuguinao, Samar (12.2°N 125.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 75 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 15 km/h. Shear Line affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting the rest of Luzon. Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds from northeast to northwest will prevail over the western sections of Mindanao with moderate to rough seas (1.2 to 3.1 meters). Elsewhere, moderate winds from the northwest to southwest to southeast with moderate seas (1.2 to 2.5 meters).

TESDA-13 holds World Café of Opportunities

BUTUAN CITY -- In line with its 29th Anniversary, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Caraga, together with the TESDA Agusan del Norte Provincial Office, in cooperation with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Caraga, local government unit of Butuan City and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Caraga joined in the nationwide conduct of the World Café of Opportunities (WCO) on August 25, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Robinsons Mall Butuan.

Aptly capturing the thrust of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., that is to precipitate the recovery of the labor market and consistent with TESDA’s mantra, “Sa TESDA, Lingap ay Maaasahan,” the agency through the leadership of TESDA Director General, Secretary Suharto T. Mangudadatu, Ph.D. will link technical and vocational education and training (TVET) graduates to possible employment opportunities through the conduct of the World Café of Opportunities.  

The Northern Mindanao School of Fisheries at Matabao, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte, the Provincial Training Center of Agusan del Norte at Cabadbaran City, and the other technical-vocational institutions in Butuan City and Agusan del Norte will also hold their respective Enrollment Day on August 25. 

All interested applicants who desire to enroll in TESDA training are encouraged to visit the aforementioned schools on Friday, August 25.

To participate in the World Café of Opportunities which is made possible through the efforts of the TESDA Caraga as led by Regional Director, Jerry G. Tizon, J.D., interested applicants may go to Robinsons Mall Butuan on August 25, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and bring the necessary documents for job application. (Chiselo Joaida R.
