Cops delivers 81 operational accomplishments in AgSur 

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur -- Fueled with determination and dedication to denounce lawbreaking elements, the Agusan del Sur cops led by Police Colonel Jovito Canlapan, provincial director, intensified the implementation of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) on August 7 to 13, 2023 that resulted to a total of 81 operational accomplishments.

With the relentless efforts exerted by the 14 police stations, two Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFCs) and Agusan del Sur Provincial Intelligence Unit (ADS PIU) yielded to seven drug personalities arrested; three individuals arrested in illegal gambling; 14 surrendered firearms and one turned-in firearm; four Most Wanted Persons and 10 Other Wanted Persons were put behind bars while there were four successful implementations of Service of Warrant of Arrest.

Further, four operations in illegal logging were successfully conducted; 33 in illegal fishing and a member of the communist terrorist group (CTG) was neutralized (surrendered).

All arrested persons have been placed under police custody while charges against them are being prepared for filing in court.

This only shows that the continuous active support of the community to the local authorities will yield to fruitful results.
