It is moving West Northwestward at 15 km/h. Light to Moderate rains are expected over #TawiTawi(TurtleIslands), #ZamboangaDelNorte, #ZamboangaSibugay(Payao, Imelda and Malangas) within the next 2-3 hours. Moderate to occasionally heavy rains are being experienced in #TawiTawi(Mapun), #Sulu(Pangutaran), #ZamboangaSibugay(Alicia, Mabuhay, Talusan and Olutanga) which may persist within 2-3 hours and may affect nearby areas.

LGU Hinatuan receives PaNata award from DSWD

HINATUAN, Surigao del Sur -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Caraga recognized the local government unit of Hinatuan with the PaNata (Pagkilala sa Natatanging Kontribusyon sa Bayan) Award.

Three recognitions were awarded to LGU Hinatuan namely, the Best LGU Implementing Sustainable Livelihood Program, the Model LGU Implementing After Care Program, and for its exemplary effort in the accomplishment of the Service Delivery Capacity Assessment, which were proudly received by Municipal Mayor Shem G. Garay and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO) Sunrise B. Tumanda on May 9, 2023 held at Almont Hotel Inland Resort, Butuan City, in time with the 72nd-anniversary celebration of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The PANATA Awards recognized the awardees' outstanding efforts and contributions to fulfilling the DSWD's mandate of improving the quality of life of the disadvantaged sectors.
