SurSur completes Anti-Red Tape training

TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur -- The Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART) of the province of Surigao del Sur completed the two-day training on re-engineering the local government unit systems and processes for provinces conducted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Caraga  on May 9 to 10 at the Grand Palace Hotel, Butuan City.

The CART represented by PENR Officer For. Thelma Alcoberes, PPDC Vilma Ronquillo, SP secretary Edgar Perez, II, JD, PHRM officer Ace Orcullo, and CART secretariat/focal, SAO Carolina Tidalgo.

The training sought to capacitate the members of the CART in streamlining LGU systems and processes according to the provisions of RA 11032, otherwise known as the "Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery (EODB-EGSD) Act of 2018", which emphasizes the need to reduce bureaucratic red-tape and undue burden to the clientele.

The recently concluded training is part of the month-long trainings put in place by the DILG Caraga to strengthen the  implementation of RA No. 11032 among LGUs in the region. (PHRMO-SDS)
