Milan

By Jennifer P. Gaitano

BUTUAN CITY – Through the intensified campaign of the Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (ADSPPO), its accomplishments against criminality, illegal drugs, illegal gambling, and illegal logging also increased in number.

In an interview, Police Lieutenant Colonel (PLtCol.) Jude Cres Milan, chief of police community affairs and development unit of ADSPPO, highlighted that the Agsurnons continue to be supportive of the efforts of the PNP in its efforts to maintain peace and order in the province.

“When it comes to peace and order, we have been implementing the what we call enhanced managing police operations, that were seen effective in assessing the performance of the PNP personnel in every municipality/city. In fact, we have not recorded any big incident in Agusan del Sur because most are manageable and we were able to file cases on these incidences,” shared PLtCol. Milan.

Following this endeavor, the ADSPPO gained more trust and confidence from the populace.

“The ADSPPO’s community relations activities have greatly contributed to the support of the locals in the barangays, and based on the survey conducted by the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), which is a third-party survey audit, the province of Agusan del Sur has reached the highest satisfaction rating coming from the different communities,” Milan added.

PLtCol. Milan also called on the locals to continue to support the ADSPPO in its initiative and campaign against all forms of criminality.

“On behalf of our provincial director, Police Colonel Jovito Canlapan, we thanked all the sectors who constantly support and cooperate in our call to help monitor the peace and order in their respective barangays. We look forward to having more community activities that would strengthen our partnership with the locals in the communities,” said Milan. (JPG/PIA-Agusan del Sur)
