Possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains. Rest of Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by Easterlies. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds from northeast to north prevails over the eastern section with moderate to rough seas (2.1 to 3.5 meters). 1502RRIBn conducts Change-of-Command ceremony

AGUSAN DEL SUR – The 1502nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (1502RRIBn) conducted Change-of-Command Ceremony on March 4, 2023, at the Philippine Normal University (PNU) – Mindanao, Prosperidad, this province with Colonel Jonathan P. Obena, Group Commander of 15th Regional Community Defense Group (15RCDG), Reserve Command (RESCOM), Philippine Army (PA) as the Presiding Officer.

Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Teodoro N. Plaza (Res), succeeded LTC. Ma. Teresa P. Baylon (Res), who served as Battalion Commander from July 16, 2021 to March 01, 2023.

During the program, Baylon received a plaque of appreciation in recognition of her commendable service rendered as the Battalion Commander of 1502RRIBn in almost two years. 

In her message, Baylon recognized the support and selfless service rendered by her reservist officers and personnel to accomplish the unit's mission. “I am proud to say that what we have achieved, is a manifestation of our selfless devotion to duty and culture of excellence. Nonetheless, I deeply extend my heartfelt thanks for your hard work and passion for your service that immensely contributed to the success and beyond the accomplishment of our mission,” she stated in her final speech.

Meanwhile, Plaza has promised to do his best and commit to serving his subordinates. He also assured that every Citizen Army of Agusan del Sur is mentally and physically ready for positive change and innovations to contribute to the accomplishment of RESCOM's mission. (1502RRIBn/PIA-Agusan del Sur)
