Mayor Garay delivers State of Local Children's Address  

HINATUAN, Surigao del Sur -- In line with the celebration of the 30th National Children’s Month, Local Chief Executive Shem G. Garay successfully delivered his State of the Local Children’s Address where he presented the Local Government Unit of HInatuan's programs for children’s protection and welfare.

Mayor Garay said that the local government will continue to improve the lives of children in terms of welfare, health, nutrition, as well as their education.

 

The celebration, decked with various activities, aims to raise public awareness of the initiatives that address the mental health needs of children.

 

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office led by MSWDO Sunrise B. Tumanda spearheaded the celebration.
