ASSCAT ROTC Unit conducts Turn-over Command Ceremony

AGUSAN DEL SUR -- The Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) ROTC Unit conducted the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Turnover of Command Ceremony on November 4, 2022 held at ASSCAT, Socio-Cultural Gymnasium, San Teodoro, Bunawan, this province.

 

Brigadier General Claro A. Lozada, Brigade Commander of 2003rd Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade (RRIBde), presided over the ceremonial turn over and at the same time served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. 

 

The outgoing Corps Commander Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Erwin Viovicente, bestowed the command responsibility to the newly-designated Corps Commander Cadet Major Merlina S. Simplicio Second Class (2CL).

 

The event was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Teodoro N Plaza (Res) PA, Executive Officer of 1502nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (RRIBn), Lieutenant Colonel Roy B Curilan, Director of 1502nd Community Defense Center (CDC), Reservist Instructors of ASSCAT Main Campus, Battalion Staff, Company Commanders of ASSCATROTCU and Enlisted Reservists. 

 

ASSCAT-NSTP Coordinator, Private First Class Nancy P. Jacosalem, initiated the activity with the approval of School President Sergeant Joy C. Capistrano Reserved (Res), Philippine Army (PA).
