DTI Dinagat Islands conducts 2nd Tatak Dinagat Provincial Trade Fair 2022

SAN JOSE, Dinagat Islands (PIA) -- Eight months after the onslaught of Super Typhoon Odette, the local Micro, Small, and Medium Entrepreneurs (MSMEs) demonstrated their resiliency and ingenuity once again by showcasing their products at the Tatak Dinagat Trade Fair held on August 31 to September 2, 2022 at Barangay Sta. Cruz Gymnasium, San Jose town  this province.

The activity highlighted the parade of products during the launching of the trade fair during the opening, featuring food and non-food products.

Representatives from National Line Agencies, the Provincial and Municipal Government Units, and Cagdianao Mindanao Corporation being the major partner, participated in the product parade.  Their participation signaled institutional and government support for the local  producers.

A side event - Diskwento Caravan: Balik Eskwela Edition was also held on the first 2 days of the trade fair.

The entire event was made  possible through the partnership with the Cagdianao Mining Corporation headed by Resident Mining Engineer, Christian Jae Gascon, Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO), and Provincial Government Office of Dinagat Islands.
