DIPPO joins the Nationwide Simultaneous Tree Planting Activity

SAN JOSE, Dinagat Islands -- The personnel of Dinagat Islands Police Provincial Office participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Tree Planting Activity conducted on September 13, 2022 at Barangay Benglen, Basilisa town, this province. 

This activity is anchored on the theme, “Buhayin ang Pangangalaga ng Kalikasan.” 

It also aims to raise awareness to the community on the importance of planting and saving trees, promote the conservation of our tree resources and to mitigate the effects of climate change. 

Around 1,000 seedlings were planted through the collaborative efforts of the Department of Interior and Local Government and Department of Environment and Natural Resources and was also participated by the Department of Agriculture, BFP, PCG, Brgy. Officials of Basilisa and ASG members at Brgy. Benglen, Basilisa, Dinagat Islands. (Dinagat Islands Police Provincial Office/PIA-Dinagat Islands)
