Tree is life

A woman who is a member of the Indigenous Peoples (IP) community woke up early to participate in the nationwide tree planting activity at Sitio Malinao in Barangay Bonbon, Butuan City. Even under the heat of the sun, she  managed to smile and laugh, because for her it is fulfilling knowing that you are contributing to the protection of the environment.

The simultaneous nationwide tree planting activity was held on September 13, 2022  in time with the 65th birthday celebration of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Romualdez Marcos, Jr. (NCLM, PIA Caraga)
