Caraga police ready for Post-Election

BUTUAN CITY --  The Regional Director of Police Regional Office 13, Police Brigadier General Romeo M. Caramat, Jr., assured the public that the police are ready to respond to any possible eventualities after the conduct of the 2022 National and Local Elections in Caraga region.

"Personnel deployed to secure polling precincts were recalled and have returned to respective police units and are now performing police operations," the region's top cop said.

He added that part of the early preparations for the election is the setting of Contingency Plans for the Post-Election Period, where protests or any unrest are possible.

"We successfully kept the elections peaceful; I am positive that this peace will continue even after the election with our stringent security measures," RD CARAMAT JR stressed out.

Meanwhile, he reminded the public that the democracy we enjoy has an associated responsibility to adhere to the law, and anyone who commits illegal activities will be put behind bars. (PMaj Dorothy M. Tumulak, PIO, PNP13/PIA Caraga)
