PRRD CAMPAIGNS FOR BG PARTYLIST 108
MANILA - President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has vocally expressed his endorsement to the Bisaya Gyud (BG) Party-list 108, enjoining the public to vote for the neophyte group as they will continue the gains in development initiated by his administration.
He is confident that the Bisaya group will pursue his visions and programs, especially in attaining lasting peace in conflict affected areas and helping the marginalized sectors in the country.
“Please support BG Party-list 108. They will continue the advocacy of NTF-ELCAC and provide basic goods for the poor,” the President said in a video message.
BG Partylist first nominee Alelee Aguilar-Andanar on Thursday thanked Presidente Duterte for his support to the groups and vowed to stick to their platform that will help uplift the lives of the FIlipino people.
“Sobrang nakakataba po ng puso na ilang beses na pong inendorso ni Pangulong Duterte ang BG Partylist 108. Kung hindi ako nagkakamali, kami po ang unang partylist na hayagang sinuportahan at kinampanya ni President Duterte,” Andanar said.
The party-list has four main thrusts in its platform namely food security, education, shelter, and security.
“Salamat, PRRD! Ipinapangako ko po na ipagpapatuloy namin ang inyong mga programa at adbokasiya para bigyan ng serbisyong may puso at malasakit ang mga Pilipino, lalo na sa mga Bisaya,” she said.
“Ang endorsement ng ating Pangulo ay patunay nang nagkakaisang pananaw at hangarin ng administrasyong Duterte at BG Partylist 108,” she added.
Second nominee Atty. Mico Clavano also expressed gratitude for the chief executive’s support.
If elected in Congress, the Cebuano lawyer also committed to pass bills supporting the advocacies of the Duterte administration.
“Nakatutuwa po na ang ating mahal na Pangulo ang nag-endorso sa BG Partylist 108. Pangako po namin ang isusulong sa Kongreso ang pagpapalakas ng mga programa ni Pangulong Duterte para mas marami pang Pilipino ang makikinabang,” he said.
