TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur -- Some 167 personnel of the Surigao del Sur Police Provincial Office (SDS PPO) have dispatched as support to forthcoming National and Local Elections 2022 during the send-off ceremony conducted on April 7, 2022, in Tandag City.

In a press statement,SDS PPO chief PCol. Joseph Boquiren disclosed that 167 PNP personnel were deployed. Of the total deployment, 137 were on training from the Basic Internal Security Operation Course (BISOC), while the other 30 were from the Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC).

According to Boquiren, the send-off ceremony is a fitting testimony of their firm aspiration for the peaceful and successful conduct of the national and local elections in 2022. The said activity also signified that they are all prepared and ready to be deployed in the different areas where their services and assistance are very much needed.

“I am reminding all the troops to prove your flexibility to adapt to the operational environment, commitment to duty, and professionalism in selflessly serving the people and protecting the country, improve our operations and achieve a secure, accurate, free, and fair election,” Boquiren said.
