Reported drug peddler arrested in Surigao Norte town 

BUTUAN CITY -- Joint elements of P Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Caraga, Surigao del Norte Police Provincial Office - Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (SDN PPO-PDEU), and Placer Municipal Police Station nabbed a drug peddler operating in Placer, Surigao del Norte when caught “in flagrante delicto” selling an estimated Php4,500 worth of shabu to an undercover agent in the afternoon of Friday, February 25. 

The suspect was identified as Dardanilo Agcol Blanco. It took weeks of monitoring and surveillance on the illegal drug activities of the suspect before he was caught red-handed selling shabu. The buy-bust money was recovered in his possession along with several drug paraphernalia and identification cards. 

The suspect is now undergoing the usual process and standard procedure in preparation for the filing of appropriate criminal charges in violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 of the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002” as amended. (PDEA-Caraga/PIA-Surigao del Norte)
