SAN JOSE, Dinagat Islands -- The provincial office of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the Negosyo Center San Jose has launched its Livelihood Seeding Program - Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) in different barangays of the province.

The said program was launched in the barangays of Valencia in Cagdianao town; Sto. Niño in Basilisa town; Carmen in Loreto town; and Cabayawan in Dinagat town.

The activity was attended and participated by the members of the Barangay Development Council, Punong Barangays, existing and potential micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

It was also the first time for the people of the community to participate in the said training.

The Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay is a program of DTI that allows a broader reach of business development assistance by bringing government services closer to the people. The program also aimed at maximizing the potentials of barangays to become economically independent and make them more effective partners in the attainment of national goals.
