The project aims to provide the farmers additional sources of livelihood.  Livestock Program Coordinator Jekem Sanchez said that each beneficiary can avail 100 free-range chickens and two sacks of feeds sponsored by B-MEG.

The fund for the poultry project was utilized under the DA-Caraga Livestock Program to procure free-range chicken and for the construction of the native chicken multiplier farm, which was launched in Tagbina Research Station.

Aside from the poultry, there were also vegetable seedlings that were distributed to the barangays of Tagbina which they requested for the implementation of their Gulayan sa Tahanan program.
