DA turns-over hauling truck to Surigao Norte coop
SURIGAO CITY, Surigao del Norte, Sept. 17 (PIA) -- The Department of Agriculture Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) - Caraga has turned over a hauling truck to the Claver Coconut Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative (CLACOFARMCO) on September 14, 2021 in Claver town, this province.
The hauling truck worth P3.7 million is one of the components of the Geonet Production and Marketing Project of the CLACOFARMCO.
During the turn over ceremony, Surigao del Norte Provincial Agriculturist Ruby Ann Lagahit said they are thankful for the project and that hopefully it will help in the expansion of geonet fiber production of the organization as well as in their development of coconut by products.
On his part, Julie S. Presilda, the President of the CLACOFARMCO said that the hauling truck will be a big help to them for easier transportation of coco husk. (DA-Caraga/PIA-Surigao del Norte)
