DSWD Caraga turns over water refilling station project to AgSur beneficiary

BUTUAN CITY -- The Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga has recently turned over a Water Refilling Station Project to the Poblacion Association Water Refilling Station in Barangay Poblacion, Sibagat, Agusan del Sur.

Through the DSWD-SLP's Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) funding, about 44 members of the association will benefit and enjoy the said project.

The Local Government Unit of Sibagat also contributed to the project's implementation by providing a lot for the water refilling station. While the PAMANA-SLP Association also gave a counterpart of P25,000 to complete the project.

Association President Pedro Fenis Jr. pledged that their group would work closely together to sustain the project. “We will take good care of this project entrusted to us and we will make this grow,” he cited.

Aside from the establishment of the water refilling station, the PAMANA-SLP livelihood project also includes one delivery truck and three units of motorized tricycles. (DSWD-Caraga/PIA-Agusan del Sur)
