100 IPs sa Caraga tumanggap ng PhilHealth cards

LUNGSOD NG BUTUAN, Agosto 30 (PIA) - Malaki ang ambag ng Indigenous Peoples (IPs) sa pagpapanatili ng kaayusan at matiwasay na pamumuhay sa kanilang mga komunidad, kaya naman bilang pagbibigay halaga sa sektor, tumanggap ang nasa isang-daang ips sa ibat-ibang probinsya ng Caraga region ng PhilHealth cards bilang tulong sa kanilang medikal na pangangailangan.

Ito ay kasabay sa ika-118th selebrasyon ng Police Service Anniversary na idinaos sa Butuan City.

Pinangunahan ito ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Caraga regional director Police Brigadier General Gilberto DC Cruz, kasama si acting PhilHealth Caraga regional vice president Herzon Zenon Leonardo Malate at Police Lieutenant General Archie Francisco Gamboa, ang deputy chief PNP for operations.

Isa-isang tinanggap ng tribal leaders ang mga PhilHealth cards na nakalaan sa kani-kanilang lugar.

Sa kanyang mensahe, binigyang-diin ni General Cruz ang ginagampanang mahalagang papel ng IPs sa ating bansa kaya naman paiigtingin pa ng pamahalaan ang pagbibigay ng serbisyo sa naturang sektor.

Pinasalamatan din ni Lt. Gen. Gamboa ang lahat ng IPs ng rehiyon sa kanilang patuloy na pagsuporta sa kampanya ng gobyerno laban kriminalidad at sa pagpapatupad ng Executive Order No. 70 o ang whole-of-nation approach sa pagsugpo ng insurhensiya sa bansa. (JPG/PIA-Caraga)
