Butuan gov’t employees to get holiday bonus

BUTUAN CITY, Dec. 6 – In time with the switching
on/light-up activity held on December 4, 2017 at the city hall grounds in
Butuan, Mayor Ronnie Vicente Lagnada gladly announced that all regular
employees will be receiving their Christmas bonus in the amount of P25,000
while those who are under a job order status will also be given P10,000.
Lagnada underscored that this will make employees
more motivated to work and provide satisfactory services to its clientele.
He also announced that he had a meeting with the
government of Japan for the development of infra projects in the city. He also
emphasized that collaboration is on process with other government agencies for
this endeavor.
Meanwhile, Lagnada also highlighted that the city
government, thru the City Tourism Office, has invited singer Lance Busa, a
Butuanon who rose as the champion of Michael Bolton's Bolt of Talent, to be one
of the performing guests during the light-up activity.
The 22-year-old from Butuan City won a record deal
and a chance to "Go the Distance" in Bolton's upcoming world tour.
