DAR distributes land titles to farmer
beneficiaries in SurSur town

TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur, Jan. 26 (PIA) – The
Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Surigao del Sur provincial office recently
distributed Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) to 48 farmer
beneficiaries of barangay Anahao Daan and Anahao Bag-o, all in Tago town,
Surigao del Sur comprising 100 hectares of Government Owned Lands (GOL).
During the event, Municipal Agrarian Reform
Program Officer (MARPO) Roscella A. Maglinte and Barangay Captain Hermelyn Ugat
led the distribution of the land titles.
ARB beneficiaries Nelly Tranquilan and Helen
Limoco expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the agency for they were able to
avail the titling program for free.
In her message, MARPO Maglinte emphasized the
importance of the land title as a judicial form.
The agency's successful undertaking showed its
continuing effort to achieve the vision to implement equitable land ownership
