The 2014 ASPBI is a forerunner of the 2013 ASPBI.

It aims to collect and generate information on the levels, structure, performance and trends of economic activities of the formal sector in the entire country while the 2014 STEP shall collect information on the available supply of tourism goods, products and services, which are valuable inputs in the compilation of the Philippine Tourism Satellite Account (PTSA).

Further, the 2014 STEP is the second survey round to be conducted by the PSA. It  aims to: 1). provide data on the supply and capacity in terms of facilities and services; 2.) gather data on employment by sex and nationality; 3.) gather data on revenue generated and; 4.) provide information on indicators for future expansion and/or renovation plans.

In Caraga, PSA Field Staff and Hired Statistical Researchers will be responsible for the distribution and collection of the questionnaires to the establishments starting last week of April 2015 to July 2015. The questionnaire can also be accessed and be accomplished online at https://aspbi.psa.gov.ph.
