Grade school pupils receive free school supplies

BUTUAN CITY, Sept. 13 (PIA) – A total of 105 Grade School pupils in Sitio Calaitan, Barangay Simbalan, municipality of Buenavista in Agusan del Norte, happily received free school bags and school supplies from the provincial government of Agusan del Norte.

On Wednesday, September 10, the school bags and school supplies were distributed to the pupils by a team led by Gov. Ma. Angelica Rosedell M. Amante-Matba, together with Provincial Administrator Percianita G. Racho and employees of the Provincial Social Welfare Population and Nutrition Services led by Ms. Daisybiel Demavivas.

The School Principal, Ramon P. Arguelles, was very thankful that they were chosen as beneficiaries for the said free school bags and school supplies for the pupils.


The Barangay Council of Simbalan led by Punong Barangay Walter B. Tuga also expressed gratitude for the visit of Gov. Matba in their barangay to personally observe the situation in the area and see also the Steel Footbridge Project granted to Sitio Calaitan. (LGU-Agusan del Norte/PIA-Agusan del Norte)
