City Health Office to conduct free cataract, cleft lip operations

SURIGAO CITY, Sept. 30 (PIA) –The Local Government of Surigao City will conduct a free cataract surgery and cleft lip operations scheduled on November 13 to 15, 2013 at the Caraga Regional Hospital, this city.

Around 113 Surigaonons had already gone through the screening process and out of 113, eight patients qualified for cleft lips operations.

The activity will be spearheaded by the City Health Office led by City Health Officer Dr. Emmanuel Plandano with full support of Surigao City Mayor Ernesto T. Matugas.
